Performance requirements for applications and services in concatenated wireless mesh networks (ConfTele)

Abstract
This paper presents the characterization of applications and services requirements for wireless concatenated multiple mesh networks proposed in the context of the Ubiquimesh projects. Recommendations for some major regulations entities, such as ITU, 3GPP and the European Project EU-MESH were gathered and updated to nowadays applications specifications. For the particular case of audio and vídeo applications, the latest and most used video and audio encoding scheme were addressed by considering the WiMAX Forum recommendations.
